Graduate Level Designer from Abertay University

Through my time at Abertay in both academic and extra-curricular activities I have explored my passion for creating immersive and engaging gaming experiences and developed my knowledge in various aspects of level design. I’ve delved into areas like layout, combat and encounter design, balancing, flow, difficulty, progression, and usability. I strive to create innovative levels using techniques that captivate players, coupled with an understanding of game design principles, to ensure that the levels I create are not only entertaining but also carefully crafted to provide an unforgettable experience.

Through a mix of solo and team projects, I have been able to develop a comprehensive skill set in game design. In addition to my technical expertise, I have honed my abilities in scoping and timekeeping, ensuring that projects are efficiently managed and delivered on schedule. Whether leading or being a team member, I have cultivated excellent communication skills, fostering effective collaboration and coordination among team members of different disclipines. By actively engaging in both leadership and collaborative roles, I have gained a deep appreciation for the importance of open dialogue, constructive feedback, and shared vision in achieving successful game design outcomes.
